It is inevitable that
we will encounter defeat
and maybe even be
surrounded by darkness
however
we can choose
to not be defeated
nor be swallowed by the darkness
because God’s light
will shine in our darkness
as numerous as the stars
we just have to
open up our heart
and look for it
