On This Day of Thanks...

Thanksgiving is a day to give thanks

for our blessings and for family

It may be the family we’re born into

or the family we’ve made for ourselves

they’re the ones we can always go home to

a place that’s filled with love

It doesn’t matter where we end up in life

what we do or how much we have

it’s who we have beside us along the way

Because a life alone

and without love

is wasted

but a life shared

and filled with love

is beautiful and amazing
