God I need to talk

down here on my knees

been thinking a lot

about who I want to be

through my journey

I want to be strong

learn to forgive

admit when I’m wrong

be an inspiration

and illustrate kindness

love a lot more

instead of less

I want to be proud

of my reflection in the mirror

even if it means

I’ll have a few tears

I want to have faith

believe in my dreams

and when I’m not all of these things

please change me
