Love is not just a room

for us to come and go as we please

it’s a house that we build

and should commit to never leave

love is not a fight

but it’s something worth fighting for

it means faithfully opening

our heart’s door

but before we can honestly trust

we must gracefully forgive

only then can we beautifully love

and amazingly live
