thank you for giving me this gift of life
You know everything that has affected me
physically, emotionally and spiritually
all the innermost experiences of my mind and heart
that have made me who I am
Forgive me for when I’ve failed You, myself or others
as I also learn to forgive
help open my eyes to Your guidance
to see the things that You want me to do
as I spend my time here on earth
I wish to let go of any rebellion or fear
even if I sometimes don’t understand
Your way of directing me

possessiveness over my life
