So this is my first attempt at blogging...a couple of people suggested it to me...so here I am giving it a try! I guess I should introduce myself...my name is Tonia and I live in Oklahoma...I've been here since 1992. I am a single mom of a beautiful daughter who is my whole world. She just turned 14! I won't go into my whole life story tonight...but I'm sure you'll hear about most of it. I tend to be an open book...just thought I'd warn ya! I say what I feel, stand up for what I believe in and don't hesitate to use my voice.
Well, almost 2 years ago I created a page on facebook called Inspirational Footprints (www.facebook.com/InspirationalFootprints). I keep it updated daily with inspirational quotes and poems that I write...when I first created it I had no idea it would end up where it is today. I mean I'm just a small farm town girl who has been writing all of my life...one day someone told me I should find a way to publish them. So I created a page on facebook...I now have about 480 fans! It's amazing!!! I have heard so many stories of grief, happiness, sadness, love and many others and I've met some amazing people. My life has truly been blessed simply because of this page. Not only have I tried to inspire them...they have inspired me!
It is my belief that if we can touch one heart…encourage one mind…and inspire one soul…we can make a difference in someone else’s life…and they could go on to inspire 10 lives…which could ultimately touch a thousand…changing the world is possible…one person at a time…
It''s kind of like paying it forward...but I like to call it...Inspire-A-Footprint! In our journey…we all leave behind footprints…I just prefer to leave inspirational ones…

ReplyDeleteThank you Kathy! I'm happy to hear that my writing is an inspiration for you...that's exactly why I created my page on facebook. We all need a little inspiration...including myself! I'm excited about starting this blog! There are so many things that I want to share with others but it's hard to do that on facebook because I'm limited to so many characters in the status. This way I can write as much as I want! lol!
